Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized After Car Wreck, Spokesperson Says

President Donald Trump's former lawyer and adviser was helping a domestic violence victim, his spokesperson said.
Rudy Giuliani was hospitalized with many broken bones after he was involved in a car crash Saturday evening in New Hampshire, his spokesperson said Sunday.
Michael Ragusa, head of Giuliani’s security, said in a statement that before the car crash, the 81-year-old former New York City mayor was helping a victim of domestic violence who had flagged him down for help. After Giuliani waited for police to arrive to help the domestic violence victim, Giuliani’s car was struck from behind while traveling on the highway, according to Ragusa.
Giuliani was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he received treatment for a “fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg.”
Ragusa said it was not a targeted attack and asked the public to refrain from spreading conspiracy theories.
Neither Ragusa or Giuliani’s rep immediately responded to a request for comment or more information.
