The world's largest refugee settlement is in Bangladesh, and it is in danger of being washed away. Incessant rains over the past couple of weeks have made the existence of about 1 million Rohingya, who live in crowded camps in Bangladesh's Cox’s Bazar district, even more precarious.

The world's largest refugee settlement is in Bangladesh, and it is in danger of being washed away. Incessant rains over the past couple of weeks have made the existence of about 1 million Rohingya, who live in crowded camps in Bangladesh's Cox’s Bazar district, even more precarious. The Rohingya are often described as currently the world’s most victimised minority and the majority of these refugees in Bangladesh fled here in 2017, fearing for their lives and persecution in Rakhine, Myanmar.
