India women vs New Zealand women: Richa Ghosh recorded the fastest fifty by an Indian batter in women's ODI cricket but New Zealand crushed the Indian team by 63 runs in the 4th ODI to take a 4-0 series lead.

Batter Richa Ghosh hit the fastest ODI half-century by an Indian women but could not prevent her team from suffering a crushing 63-run defeat in the rain-curtailed fourth ODI as New Zealand took a 4-0 lead in this five-match series in Queenstown on Tuesday.

Notably, Ghosh scored her fifty off just 26 balls with the help of four 4s and four 6s before departing for 52. The fourth ODI was curtailed to 20 overs per side after rain played spoilsport.

Chasing 192 for the win, the Indian top-order crumbled under pressure with the visitors reeling at 19 for 4. Richa (52) was the top scorer, for India and skipper Mithali pitched in with 30 before the visitors were all out for 128 in 17.5 overs. This was India's fifth defeat on tour having lost the lone T20I before succumbing in all four ODIs.
