Reporter Suspended After Question About Charlie Kirk Enrages MAGA Congressman

"I am repulsed that you would even think to ask," the Florida Republican told the journalist.
A reporter from the website Florida Politics was suspended Wednesday after he asked a question about Charlie Kirk that incensed Rep. Randy Fine (R-Fla.).
Kirk, a popular right-wing activist, was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. Before Kirk’s death was announced, A.G. Gancarski texted Fine about the incident.
Fine shared a screenshot of the exchange with the caption, “You don’t hate the media enough.”
The recently elected congressman, who had Donald Trump’s endorsement, sponsored a bill when he was a state senator to permit concealed carry of firearms on college campuses in Florida, according to Mediaite. But it was voted down in committee.
With that presumably in mind, Gancarski said he “was wondering if Charlie Kirk getting shot affects your position on campus carry? If gun control had been in play could the tragedy have been avoided?”
