Renault has revealed the Bridger Concept, previewing a rugged compact SUV for India. Positioned between the Kiger and next-generation Duster, the new model will support multiple powertrains including electric options.
Renault has unveiled the Bridger Concept, offering a preview of a new compact SUV that will join the brand’s India lineup in the coming years. Production of the upcoming model will start in 2027 and will be positioned between the Renault Kiger and the next-generation Renault Duster.
The Bridger concept showcases a bold and rugged design language, signalling Renault’s intention to bring a more adventure-oriented option to the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
The concept features a distinctly upright and squared-off silhouette that reinforces its tough character. Thick body cladding, prominent wheel arches and chunky bumpers give the Bridger a robust appearance that leans more toward lifestyle SUVs than typical urban crossovers.
One of the most distinctive design elements is the tailgate-mounted spare wheel, a feature rarely seen in this segment. This detail adds to the vehicle’s off-road-inspired personality and visually links it with dedicated off-roaders such as the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
Other styling highlights include a flat roofline with roof rails, blacked-out pillars and large alloy wheels, all of which contribute to a purposeful and adventure-ready look.
At the front, the Bridger concept follows Renault’s newest design language. The SUV features a bold grille flanked by rectangular LED headlamps with a distinctive lighting signature.

Xiaomi has opened sales of its newly launched Pad 8 in India, with availability starting March 17, 2026. The tablet comes powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, runs on HyperOS 3, and offers improved multitasking features, targeting users who want a portable device with powerful performance for work and entertainment.
