Reddit wedding drama has bride expecting 'great gift' from friend while denying invite to reception

A man on Reddit who is being barred from a wedding reception should not buy the bride the expensive gift she is anticipating from him, according to other Reddit users and an etiquette expert.
"I think she is embarrassed of me." "It sounds like a monetary deposit to her account or an expensive gift is preferred over his presence." Christine Rousselle is a lifestyle reporter with Fox News Digital.
In the post, the man said that one of his "closest friends" is getting married, but he is not permitted to attend the wedding reception.
