Robert Cosby Jr. shared his addiction struggles on Bravo's hit series "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City."
Robert Cosby Jr., the 23-year-old son of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby who spoke candidly about his drug addiction during appearances on the hit Bravo series, has died, his family confirmed Wednesday.
TMZ was the first to report the news, which Mary Cosby and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., later confirmed.
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord,” his parents said in a statement. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
No cause of death has been revealed.
Robert Cosby Jr. appeared throughout his mom’s five seasons on “RHOSLC” and spoke openly about his struggles with drug addiction in a 2024 episode, sharing on screen with his mom that he’d abused Xanax, oxycodone, cocaine and other drugs since he was a teenager.
