Doha, Qatar: The Rawabi Mini Marathon 2026 – Season 3 concluded successfully with its highest-ever participation, marking the most impactful and widely attended edition to date. Building on the momentum of the previous two seasons, this year’s marathon received an overwhelming response from the community, further strengthening its position as a leading health and wellness initiative in Qatar.
Organized in partnership with the Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) and the Rawabi Sports League (RSL), the event reflected a shared commitment to promoting active lifestyles and community engagement in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The marathon was officially flagged off by the Managing Director Mohammed Abdulla, in the presence of the Executive Director Ajmal Abdulla; Group Director Muhammed Sadikh; Group Director Haris Thayyil, and Associate Director Muhammed Sinan, along with department heads.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajmal Abdulla said: “Reaching Season 3 with such an incredible response reflects the growing awareness and enthusiasm for fitness within our community. The Rawabi Mini Marathon has evolved into a platform that brings people together with a shared purpose—embracing healthier choices and strengthening community bonds. This year’s participation truly exceeded expectations.”
The marathon saw enthusiastic participation from people of all ages and nationalities, creating an atmosphere of unity and positive energy. The 2-kilometer walkathon route, starting from Al Gharafa Stadium and concluding at Rawabi Hypermarket, offered participants an accessible and engaging way to celebrate Qatar Sport Day through physical activity.
