Karthik's comments came after former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar brought up Ashwin's SENA stats, adding that the off-spinner does not have a 5-wicket haul in the said countries. Manjrekar used Ashwin's SENA performances to argue that the India spinner isn't yet there in the list of all-time greats. Ashwin is only the 4th India bowler to pick up 400 Test wickets but his SENA performances have always come under the scanner. AShwin has 63 wickets in 20 matches at an average of over 40.
