Along a West Virginia trail, a camera caught on video the Allegheny woodrat, a rodent that is considered to be a "species of concern" in some American states.
The trail camera had captured a 17-inch-long rodent known as an Allegheny woodrat which is on the Regional Forester’s Sensitive Species list, the post said. Sydney Borchers is a lifestyle production assistant with Fox News Digital.
The footage showing the woodrat was recorded on March 12, 2024.
