Randall Cobb’s next job revealed after Jets flop
NY Post
After one season with the Jets, Randall Cobb has determined his next career venture — one away from the football field.
On Thursday, ESPN announced that the 33-year-old receiver had joined SEC Network as a college football studio analyst.
“I am incredibly excited to be coming home to the SEC with this new role,” Cobb said. “The level of greatness this conference provides year after year is unmatched – I cannot wait [to] return to the conference family with this SEC Network crew.”
After playing 10 of the first 12 seasons of his career in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers, Cobb headed to the Jets to reunite with the four-time MVP quarterback on a one-year deal.
However, Rodgers was lost for the seasons after four offensive plays and Cobb’s chemistry did not carry over to Zach Wilson.
Cobb appeared in only 11 games, with five catches for 39 yards and one touchdown in 2023.

‘Freak of nature: Zion Williamson’s resurgence could pose a Knicks problem versus motivated Pelicans
Zion Williamson is slimmer and healthier for his trip to MSG.

Almost a year to the day after a goaltender interference call against Kyle Palmieri lost the Islanders a game against the Blue Jackets that started their season’s death spiral, they were on the wrong end of another controversial call against those same Blue Jackets that might have had the same effect.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.
