Raise awareness on development programmes of NDA govt., Lokesh asks MLAs, MPs

IT Minister Nara Lokesh urges TDP-JSP-BJP alliance leaders to promote NDA government's achievements and development programs to the public.
IT Minister Nara Lokesh asked MLAs, MPs, corporators and other leaders of the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance to take forward the development programmes as well as achievements being taken up by the NDA government to the people. He met all the public elected representatives from Uttarandhra districts at the TDP office here on Monday.
During his meeting, Mr. Lokesh said that the party leaders must take steps to strengthen clusters, units and booth committees. Reiterating that the recently conducted membership drive evoked a huge response, the TDP leader also said that the party will always lend a helping hand to the karyakarthas.
He said that the leaders should explain to the people the development and welfare programmes being taken up by the NDA government in the last seven months as well as the support given to Andhra Pradesh by the Centre. He recalled that the NDA government was able to resolve the long-pending issue of the South Coast Railway Zone (SCoR) and ensure financial assistance to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). He said that a number of IT companies were also keen on setting up their branches in Visakhapatnam in the coming days.
MP M. Sribharat, AP-TDP President, Palla Srinivasa Rao, MLAs Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, Vamsikrishna Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
Later, Mr. Lokesh organised a ‘Praja Darbar’ at the party office. A number of people approached him with their grievances.
TDP cadre organised celebrations to mark the second anniversary of IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s ‘Yuva Galam’ padayatra, at the party office on Monday. Led by Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat, AP-TDP president Palla Srinivasa Rao, TDP leaders and supporters participated in the cutting of a 60-kg cake.
Later, addressing the media, TDP leaders slammed the YSRCP leaders for their comments aimed at undermining the significance of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s Davos visit.
