Rahul Gandhi may appear before Surat court in defamation case tomorrow 

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi may appear before a Surat court on Thursday in connection with a criminal defamation case filed against him for his ‘all thieves share the Modi surname’ remark. 

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi may appear before a Surat court on Thursday to defend himself in a criminal defamation case over ‘Modi surname’ remark. The defamation case was filed against him by local Gujarat MLA Purnesh Modi of the BJP. During the campaign for the Lok Sabha election 2019, Rahul Gandhi had taken a dig at his rivals saying “why all thieves share the Modi surname”.
