A rabbit that reportedly bit residents in Perry, Iowa, was brought to a waste treatment plant before being released, but has not been reported to be seen since.
"Rabbit was taken to the waste treatment plant and released and has not been reported or seen again as far as we know," a police spokesperson wrote in an email to Fox News Digital. Christine Rousselle is a lifestyle reporter with Fox News Digital.
Perry is a city of just under 8,000 people, according to the U.S. Census. It's located northwest of Des Moines in Dallas County, Iowa.
