R&B star Tamar Braxton has revealed that she nearly died after experiencing a frightening health episode that resulted in several injuries over the weekend.
The Grammy-nominated singer — one of the Braxton sisters — wrote in an update to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday that a friend found her “in a pool of blood” with a fractured nose, some lost teeth and mobility issues on Sunday.
“I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore I’m so weak,” she wrote.
She later continued, “As the days go by the worse it is. ... 💔💔the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real 💔💔💔💔I don’t even know what happened to me 💔💔.”
While it’s unclear what led to the health scare, Braxton shared a post with the text “Thank you God for waking me up today” just hours ahead of the update.
“It’s become quite a messy and toxic situation,” a Eurovision expert said.
