Qatar participates in preparatory meeting for 2023 regional conference on Water for Sustainable Development

Singapore: The State of Qatar participated in a virtual preparatory regional meeting for the 2023 conference to review the progress on the 2018-2028 as an International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development", which was held by Singapore's Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. The meeting was chaired by Singapore's Minister of sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikstan Sirojiddin Muhriddin.

The State of Qatar was represented in the meeting by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Singapore HE Saoud bin Jassim Al Jufairi. The meeting aims to evaluate efforts and share expertise in implementing goal no. 6 of the sustainable development goals, related to ensuring the supply of water and sanitation for everyone, as well as its sustainable management.
