Varun Gandhi also shared a video of a farmer setting his produce on fire as he was not able to sell it in the mandis.
In what is being seen as an increasing rift between the BJP and its leader, Varun Gandhi, the Pilibhit MP on Saturday, October 23, said that the Centre ought to accept the protesting farmers’ demands. “Govt should accept farmers' demands. I haven't done any corruption, but there're leaders who take money from the police and the mining industry. I haven't taken my MP salary or government accommodation. The public has given me power not to improve my lifestyle but to uplift them and resolve their issues,” he said. 15 - ,? pic.twitter.com/z3EjYw9rIz
