Protests erupt against Bhubaneswar civic body's order to limit gatherings to 50 people

Several people launched a protest in front of BMC's headquarters claiming that restricting the number of guests at social functions has hit their business hard.

After Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a fresh order to restrict the number of guests at weddings and other events at 50, the members of the catering, tent and hospitality industry on Tuesday launched a protest to oppose the move.

According to a report published in The Times of India (TOI), several people launched a protest in front of BMC's headquarters claiming that restricting the number of guests at social functions has hit their business hard.
