Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi met women farmers in Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh and briefed them on the party's schemes for women empowerment ahead of the 2022 UP polls. 

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi met women farmers in Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday and briefed them on the party's policies for women ahead of the 2022 UP polls.Speaking to Aaj Tak, she said, "I came to share sorrow with women farmers and to inform them about our Congress policies."Gandhi was served with food including 'aalu ka paratha', salad, jaggery and so on.

Gandhi will flag off three 'Pratigya Yatras' from Barabanki to take to the people various resolutions adopted by the party ahead of the assembly elections.
