Prince Albert Police investigating after man removed from hospital emergency department

The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) is investigating what led to a man being found lying on the ground near the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital in a vulnerable state.
PAPS said they responded to a report of a disturbance in the 2300 block of 10th Avenue West around 10:50 p.m. CST on Thursday.
Police say officers found an intoxicated man lying in the snow. They assessed his condition and ensured he was provided medical attention.
"Information obtained by police indicates the male had been evicted from the property prior to officers’ arrival," said the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) in a media release.
PAPS said they are investigating a social media video posted in relation to the incident.
A video posted to Facebook shows three security guards pushing a man in a wheelchair east through the hospital parking lot. The man is screaming in the video. A second video shows the man lying in the snow outside the Victoria Square Compounding Pharmacy business complex, which is near the hospital.
In response to reports of the incident, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) said that a person who was disruptive in the emergency room was escorted from the building on the evening of Dec. 11.
“The SHA is reviewing this situation with our security provider to ensure all proper processes were followed, and these processes maintain a safe environment for staff and patients, while supporting individuals who may need connection to additional services outside of the hospital,” SHA said in a statement to CBC News.
GardaWorld, the security company that provides guards at Prince Albert Victoria Hospital, said that it is assessing the Dec. 11 incident involving their employees. GardaWorld said it is gathering more details on the matter and couldn't comment any further at this time.
