Police post in J&K’s Sopore attacked with grenade, two cops injured

Suspected terrorists hurled a grenade at a police post in Sopore town of J&K’s Baramulla district. It exploded outside, leaving two police personnel with minor injuries.

Suspected terrorists threw a grenade at a police post near the Sopore bus stand in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday afternoon. According to the Jammu and Kashmir police, it missed the target and exploded outside. Two police personnel have suffered minor injuries in the incident. They have since been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case and the investigation is underway. As of now, they have cordoned off the area and a search is in progress.
