
Police launch probe after beheaded body of girl found in Meerut’s Lakhipura

The beheaded body of a woman, aged 20-22, was found in Meerut’s Lakhipura area on Friday morning. Police are searching for the head of the unidentified woman and are scanning CCTV footage from the neighbourhood to nab the culprits.
The beheaded body of a girl was found lying on the road in Meerut’s Lakhipura area in the early morning on Friday, August 11. Police officials are trying to identify the victim, who is reportedly aged 20-22 years.
The incident occurred in the Lisari Gate police station area. Based on an initial probe, the dead body was reportedly thrown in the area after the girl was killed elsewhere.
Police officials are checking the footage from all the CCTV cameras in the surrounding area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officials reached the area and began an investigation into the whole matter. The forensic team was also called to the spot. The girl's head has not been found yet.
Police have sought information about missing girls by flashing the information in all police stations.
The police officers are also trying to identify the girl and all the CCTV footage from the entire neighbourhood is being scanned.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
