Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has expressed profound sorrow over the martyrdom of members of the Qatari Armed Forces and the joint Qatari-Turkish forces who lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the country’s territorial waters.

In a statement posted on his official account on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the fallen personnel, describing them as “heroes” who died while carrying out their national duty.

“We mourn with profound sorrow and grief the heroes of our armed forces, along with their brothers from the Turkish-Qatari joint forces and the collaborators who were martyred following the crash of a helicopter while performing their national duty,” he said.
