The Shura Council called on Iran to halt its aggression, adopt a path of wisdom and dialogue, and help preserve regional stability.
It welcomed a recent UN resolution condemning Iranian attacks on several regional countries, including Qatar, and calling for their immediate cessation. It said the resolution reflects broad international consensus rejecting what it described as unlawful and unjustified aggression.
The Shura urged the international community and regional parliamentary organisations to assume their responsibilities in halting what it described as serious violations of the sovereignty of Qatar and other states in the region.
