The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology (IT) in its meeting on Monday raised the issue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Twitter account being "compromised" and sought an answer from the IT Ministry officials.

While the panel asked the officials of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to explain the reason behind the PM's Twitter account being compromised, the answers received were less than satisfactory, sources said.
