Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met with President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco, Chairperson of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Gennaro Migliore, Deputy Director of United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre and Chief of Special Projects and Innovation Branch Mauro Miedico and Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Ambassador Sergio Piazzi on the occasion of their visit to the country to participate in the inauguration of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) programme office on Parliamentary Engagement in Preventing and Countering Terrorism.
