Plots in J&K? First provide houses and food to homeless in UP, Mehbooba tells Yogi

Former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti asked Yogi Adityanath to provide houses and food to homeless people in UP instead of selling plots in J&K.

People's Democratic Party(PDP) Chief Mehbooba Mufti has hit out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over his recent remarks on selling plots to people in Jammu and Kashmir.Mehbooba Mufti said,” Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister is saying that plots will be provided to people in J&K now. Before selling plots to people in J&K, he should provide houses to homeless people in UP. He should provide food to the hungry.”During her speech, Mehbooba Mufti also praised Atal Bihari Vajpayee's policies for Jammu and Kashmir.Mehbooba Mufti said, “Before Mufti Mohd Sayeed became CM of J&K in 2002, security forces used to take down skull caps of elderly people while frisking them. Security forces snatched chadar (veil) of our girls during searches. Militants used to visit people's homes at night, and the next day, security forces used to come and harass the common people while inquiring about militants. When Mufti Mohd Sayeed became CM, all this harassment was stopped.”PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti was addressing party workers in Mendhar Tehsil of Poonch district.
