In Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs 95.41 and the price of diesel is Rs 86.67. There has been no change in the rates of petrol and diesel even in Mumbai.
While petrol is retailing at Rs 109.98 per litre, diesel is trading at Rs 94.14 per litre in Mumbai. In Kolkata, petrol is available for Rs 104.67 and diesel for Rs 89.79. At the same time, the price of a litre of petrol in Chennai is Rs 101.40, while the price of diesel is Rs 91.43 per litre.
In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 107.23 and diesel at Rs 90.87. In Bangalore, petrol is available at Rs 100.58 and diesel at Rs 85.01 per litre.
In India, petrol and diesel prices depend on various factors like demand for fuel, valuation of INR against USD, consumption ratio of refineries and more. In addition to this, fuel rates differ from state to state due to value-added tax (VAT) and freight charges.
