U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Detroit Metropolitan Airport discovered more than $60,000 in cash hidden inside a package of menstrual pads in a passenger’s baggage on Feb. 3.
The undeclared currency was bundled inside envelopes concealed inside the package, CBP officers said. The woman had told officers that she was only carrying $1,000. The passenger had been headed to Amsterdam when the hidden money was discovered.More Related News
