One of India's largest student outreach initiatives, Pariksha Pe Charcha, is back with its 2026 edition at a crucial time in the academic calendar. The programme continues the government's focus on promoting stress-free learning and emotional well-being among young learners.
The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), the annual flagship student engagement programme led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to be broadcast live on February 6, 2026.
The announcement comes directly from the Prime Minister’s official communications, underlining the importance of this nationwide event aimed at helping students, parents and teachers navigate the pressures of the examination season with confidence and calm.
Scheduled to begin at 10 am, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 will be available for a live nationwide audience through multiple platforms, ensuring accessibility for families and learners across India.
For the first time, PPC will not be confined to a single venue. Instead, the programme will feature simultaneous live interactions from multiple locations, reflecting the diverse voices and regional perspectives of students from different parts of the country. The confirmed venues for the 2026 celebration include:
Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi
Devmogra, Gujarat

The CBSE Class 12 Economics exam 2026 was moderate and balanced, say teachers. The paper followed the CBSE pattern and NCERT syllabus, with a mix of theory, numericals, and case-based questions. While many questions were manageable, application-based and case study questions required careful reading and strong conceptual clarity.
