Anil Deshmukh's counsel said contents of Param Bir Singh's letter against the former Maharashtra home minister could at the most generate "some suspicion, or whispers" in the corridors of the police commissioner's office.
Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who is facing a CBI probe over charges of corruption and misconduct, told the Bombay HC on Wednesday that the court will have to consider whether Param Bir Singh’s letter against him required any directions by the HC. Senior advocate Amit Desai, appearing for Anil Deshmukh, told the division bench of Justice S S Deshmukh and Justice N J Jamdar on Wednesday that “the court will have to consider whether a letter by Param Bir Singh, which is attached to the letter of Jaishri Patil required any directions by the court.”More Related News
