Pakistan vs West Indies, 2nd ODI: After Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq hit fifties to help Pakistan post 275, left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz ran through the West Indies batting unit on Friday in Multan.
Pakistan rode on spinner Mohammad Nawaz's heroics after captain Babar Azam and opener Imam-ul-Haq continued their fine run with the bat to beat West Indies by 120 runs in the 2nd ODI in Multan on Friday and seal an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.
Mohammad Nawaz ran through the West Indies middle-order, picking up his career-best figures of 4/17 as the visitors were bundled out for just 155 in 32.2 overs, failing to even get closer to Pakistan's total of 275 on a slow pitch in Multan.
Nawaz extracted sharp turn and also accounted for the wickets of Shamarh Brooks, who was trapped lbw and then had Rovman Powell (10) and skipper Nicholas Pooran’s (25) wickets in one over.
Wasim and Shadab Khan (2-40) then wrapped up the tail quickly to give Pakistan a massive win.
