Oval Test: Virat Kohli emulates Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid with 1000 runs in England and Australia

England became the second overseas country after Australia where India captain Virat Kohli completed 1000 Test runs on Day 4 of the fourth match at The Oval on Sunday.

India captain Virat Kohli on Sunday became the third batsman from the country to complete 1000 Test runs in England during the first session on Day 4 of the fourth Test at The Oval. Kohli reached the landmark with a cover drive for four against Craig Overton to join Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid in an elite Indian list. Kohli is only the third Indian now to score more than 1000 Test runs in Australia and England after Tendulkar and Dravid.
