The College Republicans of America deemed the tame remark "inappropriate."
The president of New York University’s College Republicans group has resigned after comments she made about NYU freshman Barron Trump landed her in hot water with conservatives.
Kaya Walker told Vanity Fair in an article published last week that President Donald Trump’s youngest son is “sort of like an oddity on campus.”
“He goes to class, he goes home,” she said.
The magazine also reported that “Walker was mildly bothered by the frenzy around Barron, arguing that he deserved a more normal college experience.”
Those fairly innocuous comments were deemed “inappropriate” by the College Republicans of America.
