Nutjob who opened fire near SoCal elementary school emerges pantless after standoff
NY Post
A gun-toting maniac opened fire near a Southern California elementary school before barricading himself inside a home — bizarrely emerging pantless after a standoff with a SWAT team.
Officers responded to reports Wednesday around 9:15 a.m. of a man having a breakdown in the Santa Clarita neighborhood of Saugus, leading the suspect to open fire on an unoccupied vehicle, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect then barricaded himself inside a home and forced nearby schools, including one across the street from the scene, to go on lockdown. Residents in the area were also evacuated.
Officers established a perimeter “and initiated crisis response protocols,” the sheriff said.
Wild aerial footage captured by Fox 11 showed what appeared to be a large firearm on a sidewalk in front of the home.

Walk into almost any dinner party or gathering and mention Ozempic or other GLP-1s. The reaction is nearly always the same: People lower their voices. They hesitate. They start qualifying what they mean before they’ve even said it. What should be a straightforward conversation about a medication quickly turns into a moral debate about whether using it is acceptable at all.
