Not a common criminal: CBI urges Bombay HC to not grant bail to Chhota Rajan

Appearing for CBI, Special Public Prosecutor Pardeep Gharat told a single bench of Bombay High Court that Chhota Rajan should not be treated as common criminals.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) opposed Chhota Rajan's bail plea in the Bombay High Court on Wednesday, saying that he is not a common criminal and that his case cannot be set at par with others. Special Public Prosecutor Pardeep Gharat told a single bench presided over by Justice Anuja Prabhudesai that Chhota Rajan had multiple cases pending against him. He also informed that the gangster was convicted and sentenced in a host of other cases, arguing that that Chhota Rajan was a "Z plus security threat" to the nation.More Related News
