Northumberland Ferry cancels several departures due to technical issues
CBC
Northumberland Ferries cancelled a series of crossings on Saturday due to technical issues.
The 6 p.m. crossing leaving from Wood Islands, P.E.I., and the 7:30 p.m. crossing leaving from Caribou, N.S., are among the cancellations.
The company has faced numerous cancellations this year among other issues in previous years, such as an onboard fire, a wharf collision and a delayed wait time for a new ferry.
A press release from the company says they are assessing the situation and they will release more updates as they become available.
CBC has contacted Northumberland Ferries for more info but has yet to hear back.
