Non-adherence to COVID-19 norms behind surge in infections in Punjab: Health officials

With Punjab witnessing an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, health officials on Monday ascribed the upswing to people not adhering to safety guidelines like wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. According to the state health department data, Punjab has recorded daily cases between 200 and 350 for the last several days.
