No relief to Bikram Majithia in NDPS case, next hearing on January 10

The Punjab and Haryana High Court gave no relief to senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia on the anticipatory bail filed by him in the NDPS case.

In the anticipatory bail filed by senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia, who is booked under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act, Punjab and Haryana High Court on Wednesday gave no relief or stay to Majithia on his arrest.

Majithia's counsel Damanvir Singh Sobti, while talking to India Today, said that the state government has been issued a notice and they have to file a reply by January 8. The next hearing for this case has been listed for January 10.
