No permission needed to film ‘erotic content’ behind closed doors: Gehana Vasisth’s statement to police

Actor-director Gehana Vasisth appeared before the property cell of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Thursday to record her statement with regards to the FIR registered by an adult film actress in the pornography case.

Actor-director Gehana Vasisth appeared before the property cell of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Thursday to record her statement with regards to the FIR registered by an adult film actress in the pornography case.

Defending her actions, Gehana Vasisth told investigators that she produced “bold, erotic content” which does not qualify as pornographic material. She further claimed that since there are no censorship laws for digital content, they are free to film whatever they want without legal consequences.
