NIA arrests human rights activist for links with Pak-based OGW, searches premises of former NIA officer

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested J&K-based human rights activist Khurram Parvez for his alleged links with overground workers (OGWs) of a Pak-based banned organisation.
In a significant move, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested human rights activist Khurram Parvez in Srinagar. The NIA spokesperson said, "The human rights activist was in touch with overground workers (OGW) of a Pak-based banned organisation."
Sources said the case pertains to FIR RC-30/2021/NIA/DLI with Lashkar-e-Taiba and overground workers.
