Kyle Jamieson was fined for his outburst after dismissing Yasir Ali in Bangladesh's first innings of the second Test, which New Zealand won by an innings and 117 runs, and was handed one demerit point. It is his third offence in a 24-month period and his third demerit point.
New Zealand fast bowling all-rounder Kyle Jamieson was on Tuesday fined 15 per cent of his match fee for using "inappropriate language" after dismissing Yasir Ali during the just-concluded second Test against Bangladesh in Christchurch.
According to an ICC statement, Jamieson was found to have breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match."
