New Jets regime setting itself apart with early training camp decisions
NY Post
The Jets have had six practices so far in training camp, and new coach Aaron Glenn’s fingerprints have been all over them.
You can see that Glenn is pushing the Jets with physical practices as he tries to build a winner. The current rules limit just how far coaches can go in training camp, but Glenn has figured out ways to add a physical element to practice. The Jets did live tackling Monday, something that is a rarity around the NFL.
Glenn has hit all the right notes so far in his messaging and his approach. We’ll see if he can now turn that into wins when the season arrives.
Besides the physical nature of the Jets practices, here are a few other takeaways from the first week:

The Knicks won’t be raising a banner to the rafters at Madison Square Garden to commemorate their victory in the 2025 NBA Cup, and you can count your humble narrator among the faction that wishes they’d chosen differently. I’m not quite sure when it became mandatory to rinse as much fun out of sports as possible, but we’re sure trying.
