Nebras Energy embarks on strengthening global presence, establishing higher generating capacity plants domestically
Nebras Energy is enhancing its global presence, even as it strengthens domestic operations through higher generating capacity stations and replacing older, lower-efficiency stations with newer and more efficient ones. "Nebras Energy continues to strengthen its global presence, achieving sustainable growth and outstanding success in project development and investments worldwide," said its board report, presented before shareholders at the annual general assembly meeting, which approved 75% dividends. Nebras Energy is working with EDF (France), Sojitz (Japan), and Kyudan (Japan) on the construction of the 1,574 MW “Syrdarya 2” combined-cycle power plant project in Uzbekistan, with it holding a 3.33% stake. Commercial operation is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2026.
