Navjot Sidhu vs Captain Amarinder is a tale of blaster fighting master

The tussle between Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and his Congress colleague Navjot Sindh Sidhu continues unabated despite efforts from the party’s top leadership. Captain and Sidhu paired ahead of 2017 Punjab Assembly election. But differences cropped up soon after the Congress formed government in Punjab after the polls.

The growing differences between the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has become worrisome for the Congress high command. The tussle between the two is not new and deeply rooted, having its beginning in weeks after the formation of the Congress government in Punjab in 2017. It is said that Captain Amarinder Singh was not happy with the way Navjot Singh Sidhu was inducted into the Congress from the BJP, just before the Punjab Assembly election 2017.
