Former MLA Navjot Kaur Sidhu has launched an offensive against former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh over his ties to Pakistani scribe Aroosa Alam.
Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife and former MLA Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Saturday launched an offensive against former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh over his ties to Pakistani scribe Aroosa Alam. ‘You were a minister in my cabinet @Sukhjinder_INC. Never heard you complain about Aroosa Alam. And she’d been coming for 16 years with due GoI clearances. Or are you alleging that both NDA and @INCIndia led UPA govts in this period connived with Pak ISI?’: @capt_amarinder 2/3
Navjot Kaur Sidhu alleged that Aroosa Alam had undue influence over appointments to postings in the Punjab Police during Capt Amarinder Singh’s regime. She also accused Amarinder Singh of accepting kickbacks and giving “gifts” to the Pakistani journalist.
