National Park Service prompts Twitter back-and-forth over humorous advice about avoiding bear attacks
Fox News
The National Park Service issued a humorous warning about bear attacks and prompted a back-and-forth on Twitter after urging parkgoers not to abandon their "slower" friends.
"Seeing a bear in the wild is a special treat for any visitor to a national park. While it is an exciting moment, it is important to remember that bears in national parks are wild and can be dangerous," the NPS added. Jon Brown is a writer for Fox News Digital. The NPS went on to warn that as spring arrives and snow begins to melt, many bears become more active.
