The Oscar-winning actor slammed President Donald Trump, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Immigration and Customs Enforcement for their deadly immigration crackdown.
Natalie Portman criticized President Donald Trump, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Immigration and Customs Enforcement following the fatal shooting of ICU nurse Alex Pretti in Minnesota.
“I’m getting emotional because it’s really been — it’s such a horrible day. It’s been a horrible week,” the Oscar-winning actor said on Saturday before the premiere of her film “The Gallerist” at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, The Hill reported.
“What is happening in our country is just obscene,” she added.
Portman also condemned the Trump administration for the deadly immigration crackdown.
“What Trump and Kristi Noem and ICE are doing to our citizens, and undocumented people, is outrageous and needs to end,” she said.
