
NASA completes tests to identify problem with Hubble Space Telescope computer

NASA said Friday it had completed additional diagnostic testing in an effort to identify a problem with the Hubble Space Telescope's (HST) payload computer.
In a release, the agency noted that the HST – named for trailblazing astronomer Edwin Hubble – and its science instruments remain in "good health and are currently in a safe configuration." The telescope has two payload computers, one of which is a back, and they're located on the Science Instrument and Command and Data Handling (SI C&DH) unit.More Related News
