Arbaaz Merchantt's father, lawyer Aslam Merchant, has said that the allegations made against his son are false and that he was not in possession of drugs as claimed by the NCB.

Arbaaz Seth Merchantt's father, in an exclusive interview with India Today, denied the NCB's claim that his son was in possession of banned drugs on board Goa-bound cruise ship.

Arbaaz Merchantt, Aryan Khan and Munmun Dhamecha, were arrested on Sunday evening in connection with the seizure of banned drugs on board a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. The trio have been remanded in NCB custody till October 7.
